1. Who we are

This website is run by Vantedge Frontier Ltd (RC 9542667), a private company registered in Nigeria under CAMA 2020. Our registered office is at 1, Onoh Crescent, GRA, Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means Vantedge Frontier Ltd.

We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website, our forms, our WhatsApp line and our Facebook Page. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the rules issued under it by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Questions about privacy go to vantedge.frontiersltd@gmail.com. Put "Privacy" in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly.

2. What we collect and why

We only ask for what we need to answer you or deliver a service. Fields we don't need are optional or not there at all.

We don't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this website. See the Cookie Policy for the few things we do store in your browser.

3. Children and students

Some of our courses are for teenagers. Under the NDPA, anyone under 18 is a child, so we only take a child's details with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • The Digital Creators registration form must be filled in by the parent or guardian, who ticks a box to give consent.
  • We contact the parent, not the student, about payment and schedules.
  • We don't use a student's name, photo or work in marketing without separate written permission from the parent.
  • A parent can ask to see, correct or delete their child's data at any time, using the steps in section 8.

If you think a child has sent us their details without a parent's consent, tell us and we'll delete them.

4. Schools that use our CBT and result portals

When a school uses our CBT exam software or online result portal, the school decides what student and staff data goes in and why. In that case the school is the data controller and we act as its processor. We only use that data to run the service for the school, under a written agreement, and we don't use it for anything else. Parents and students should send requests about that data to their school first. We'll help the school respond.

5. Who we share data with

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it for other companies' marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the business:

  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) passes the details you type into our website forms to our email inbox.
  • Google hosts our email (Gmail).
  • Meta runs WhatsApp and Facebook, if you contact us there.
  • Truehost hosts this website and its server logs.
  • Our bank processes payments you make to us by transfer.

Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards allowed under Part VIII of the NDPA, such as the provider's own data protection commitments, and we only send what's needed.

We may also share data if the law requires it, for example with a court or a regulator, or to protect someone's safety.

6. How we keep it safe

The site runs over HTTPS. Only the people who need our inbox and client files can open them. We use strong passwords and turn on two-step sign-in wherever a service offers it. We delete data when the retention period in section 2 ends. If a breach puts your data at risk, we'll tell the NDPC within 72 hours and tell you without undue delay.

7. Your rights

Under the NDPA you can:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong or out of date
  • ask us to delete your data
  • ask us to stop or limit using it
  • object to us using it for our legitimate interests
  • ask for your data in a format you can take elsewhere
  • withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect what we did before you withdrew it)

8. How to make a request

Use the data request form, or email vantedge.frontiersltd@gmail.com. We may ask a question to confirm it's really you, so we don't hand your data to someone else. There's no charge. We'll reply within 30 days. If a request is complicated we'll tell you why and how much longer it'll take.

If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng. We'd like the chance to sort it out first, though.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also put a notice on the homepage.
